Suzanne Leonelli

Suzanne Leonelli was born in Salina Kansas and raised in Tescott, Kansas a small farming community just outside of Salina. She is the youngest of 5 children and has 4 older brothers.
Suzanne attended Fort Hays State University and received her bachelor’s degree in Pre-Law and a master’s degree in administration, Counseling and Educational Studies. She holds a license in Mental Health Counseling and is a licensed Alcohol and Drug Addictions Counselor.
In 2015 Suzanne and her girls Madison (22 who resides in Colorado) and Bella (18 who will be attending Utah Tech University Fall of 2023) moved to St. George, UT and she began her employment as the CEO for Root for Kids. She has a deep passion and commitment for early care and education and has a fierce love for non-profits. Suzanne has over 28 years in nonprofit management.
After being a guest speaker of the Dixie Sunrise Rotary Club in 2016, she joined this amazing group of people a month later. Since joining Rotary, Suzanne has showed an impressive commitment to her club. She has served as the Public Image Chair, Club President, Foundation President, Assistant Governor, and currently is the District Governor Nominee. As Club President of the Dixie Sunrise Rotary Club in 20-21, her club was the recipient of Large Club of the Year.
Suzanne prides herself on her involvement in the local community and serves on many boards in both Utah and Arizona.
She is a diehard Kansas Jayhawk and Kansas City Chiefs fan. She enjoys hiking, golfing, playing racquetball, traveling, and eating.
