Michael Boyer has been working in Technology and Digital Marketing for 22 years. He is the Chief Operating Officer of Digital West, Inc., a company providing digital products and services to thousands of business across the country.

Michael has Rotary in his blood, a fourth generation Rotarian. Michael’s Great Grand Father, Luther Hodges was Rotary International President in 1967-68. Michael’s Father is Past District Governor in District 5010, his mother is Past President of the Rotary Club of Wasilla and his wife is Past President of the Rotary Club of Pismo Beach/Five Cities.

Randy is a Past District Governor (2012-13) Rotary D-5500, a past president and member of the Rotary Club of Marana, AZ. He was the Rotary Regional Assistant Coordinator, Chair of the Arizona Tri-District PETS committee (2016), served as the District Vice Governor (2015-18). Randy is president of the Rotary District 5500 Foundation (2017-2018) and a board member of The Rotary Vocational Fund of Arizona (2016-19). He is on the steering committee for the newly named Southwest PETS (2017-2020) and is an Assistant Rotary Regional Foundation Coordinator Zone 26, (2017-2020). He has attended a Rotary Peace Conference in Paris, and the Rotary Day at the United Nations. Randy attends Zone Institutes and Rotary conventions. He has worked on many community and international projects and a facilitator and graduate on the Rotary Leadership Institute. Randy is a graduate of the Arizona Rotary Leadership Academy and a facilitator with the Visioning” process in Arizona. He’s also is a facilitator for the Rotary Leadership Institute. He Randy is a major donor, Paul Harris Society and Bequest Society member. Randy is Vice President of the International Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Foundation (1997-2018).

Bill became a Rotarian back in Adrian, Michigan in 1973. He went on to be club president in 1983 and in 1989 was elected District Governor of District 6400. He is currently a member of the Palm Springs Sunup Rotary Club. He served as its president in 2009. He is currently the Club Secretary.

His District 5330 positions have included being a Rotary Leadership Institute Facilitator, Assistant Governor, Executive Assistant Governor, and District Trainer. He was our District’s representative to the Council on Legislation in 2016 and chaired the Rotary World Peace Conference that same year.

He retired from dentistry after 40 years in the profession. Bill has completed 13 international humanitarian trips as a TRF volunteer dentist and wrote a book on his experiences in 2014 entitled, “In Chase of a Cause”. He is a Major Donor.

Alice (Ali) Danta was born in California and was raised in both California and Texas. Ali graduated from CSULB with a degree in …. During her college years she spent a semester and summer in Germany, exploring the German way of life and countryside. She went into Corporate America and enjoyed a successful career in employee training at Xerox and a few competitor companies. Ultimately Ali and husband Randall founded an engineering consulting firm Pro Design Associates (PDA) in 1994, which they still enjoy running today.

Ali and Randy have been happily married 25 years. They have two daughters who thus far show no signs of marriage and families (so no grandchildren yet).

Ali enjoys mountain and road cycling, gourmet cooking and fine wines, hiking, backpacking and investing. They are currently hiking sections of the Pacific Crest Trail. She and Randy have also raised Angus cattle in Tillamook Oregon. Randy has also conquered Mt. Everest with the New Zealand team Rob Hall and Gary Ball in 1992.

With a wide range of talents and blessed with patience, Ali is a veteran of many club and District Rotary functions.

Nick Frankle joined the Rotary Club of Westlake Village Sunrise in 2003. He was club president in Rotary Year 2006-07. During his year as president, the club was selected the best medium club in District 5240 and the best large service organization in his home community of Thousand Oaks. He also served his club as Club Service Chair, International Service Chair and Foundation Chair.

Nick served as District Governor of Rotary District 5240 in 2016-17. Prior to that, Nick served District 5240 as an Assistant Governor and Executive Assistant Governor, Membership Chair, International Service Chair and Communications Chair. He was a member of the Zone 26 team implementing the Ignite Membership Initiative. In Rotary Year 2014-15, Nick and his wife Heather, served the District as Co-Chief Operating Officers.

Nick is a Major Donor, Benefactor, member of the Bequest Society and of the Paul Harris Society. He is a graduate of the District 5240 PRLS and Master PRLS leadership training programs. For RY 2012-13, Nick was the recipient of the District 5240 Samuel L. Greene Service Above Self award.

Nick is the President-Elect of the Rotarian Action Group for Microfinance and Community Development. Nick has participated in international projects in Mexico, Honduras and South Africa. He helped establish the District 5240 Rotary Safari program which encourages Rotarians to participate in international projects. He has seen how Rotarians change the world “one life at a time” while understanding that the people most changed by humanitarian projects are the Rotarians themselves.

Roger first joined Rotary in 1984 by invitation. Roger has been a Past President twice 1989—1990, and 2000-2001. He was honored in receiving Rotarian of the year by his respective clubs on three separate occasions. Has had the unique experience of having to close two clubs during his Rotary tenure (Irwindale & Foothills Sunrise). Roger has held several positions in District 5300 which include Assistant Governor 2010—2013. Executive Assistant Governor 2013—2015 and then took on the positions of Club Extension Chair 2015—2016 and Membership Chair 2016—2017. Roger currently serves as Executive Assistant Governor 2017—2018 and will continue next year during John Chase’s year as Executive Assistant Governor all in Ca. East Region. Additionally Roger is consummating his Paul Harris Major Donner status this year.

Born and raised in Minnesota, Joe spent 20 years in Illinois before moving to Arizona in 2010. A Rotarian for 35 years, he is currently a member of the Marana-Dove Mountain Rotary Club, AZ. Previously, he was a member of the Cannon Falls, MN, and the Woodstock, IL, Rotary Clubs. Joe is serving as the District 5500 Governor during 2017-2018

A professional musician and teacher for many years, Joe was also a high school administrator and served as K-12 Superintendent of Schools from 1982 until his retirement in 2002. In 1984, Joe earned his Ph. D. in Educational Administration at The Ohio State University. Following retirement, he taught graduate classes for Northern Illinois University and Webster University.

Joe and Brigitte have been married for 51 years and have two children (boys) and four grandchildren (3 girls, 1 boy). Their favorite pastimes are traveling and spoiling grandchildren.

Raghada Khoury, is a member of the Rotary Club of Apple Valley since 2003. She served as Club President, member of the Board of Directors for 13 years and Youth Services Chair for 10 years. At the District level, Raghada served in various capacities including AG, Exec-AG, District Grants Chair, 4 Way Test Speech Contest Chair, Governors Aide 2013-2014 and many other District Committees. She is now District 5300 Governor Nominee 2017-18.

Raghada has a BS from University of Phoenix and an MAM from University of Redlands in 2001. She has been in Real Estate Investment for the last 16 years and is currently a Certified Predicative Index Practitioner. Raghada served numerous community positions to include being President of the Domestic Violence Agency in Victor Valley for over 5 years, Commission on the Status of Women for 6 years. She served on the Apple Valley Parks and Rec Commission and served on the Apple Valley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors for 4 years. She also serves as an advocate for Law Enforcement on the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Exchange Committee.

Raghada has a 30 year old son. She is a multiple PHF. Traveled many years for the Super Build project and enjoys developing and building relationships with Rotarians all over the globe.

Joe joined the Rotary Club of Lake Arrowhead, CA in 2004 after retiring in 2001 as Associate Director of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Dryden Flight Research Center at Edwards AFB, California.

He was District Governor 2013-14 in RI District 5330. He is Zone 26 Assistant Rotary Coordinator, Representative to the Council of Legislation, member of Southwest Rotary PETS and Zone 26/27 Zone Institute Committees, and other positions.

As Club President in 2007-08 Joe was awarded “Best Club in the District.” As District Governor in 2013-14 he was awarded greatest membership growth in Zones 25/26. This was after years of declining membership and being last place in both zones in membership growth. As Chair of the 2018 Rotary Rose Parade Float Committee he turned around a financially challenged project in debt into surplus while simultaneously winning the Rose Parade’s Princess Trophy for most beautiful Float under 35 ft.

He has been married to his wife Jeanne for 51 years and have 2 children and 6 grandchildren. Joe and Jeanne are Major Donors, Multiple Paul Harris Fellows, Members of the Paul Harris Society and Benefactors. Joe has a BS in Physics from the University of San Francisco, MS in Electronic Engineering from University of Southern California, and an MS in Management from Stanford University as a Sloan Fellow.

David is currently the Center Director for the USO in Las Vegas where he is responsible for three USO Centers, development activities and a Pathfinder team that assists active duty military transition to civilian employment. He serves on the board of directors for Nevada Trust Company and Trustar Corporation. His career includes 25 years of diverse senior management, marketing, finance and business development experience. He held management and executive roles at Ford Motor Company and Hewlett-Packard, respectively, as well as executive roles at three technology start-up companies in operations, finance, marketing and sales. Throughout his career he has lived or worked in 7 different countries.
